CAMPHOR. Even if you have never seen camphor, if you feel its strong characteristic aroma you will not be able to confuse it with another. Camphor is an obligatory ingredient of many topical products for a wide variety of diseases – from colds to severe bronchitis, from strain in the gym to serious injury or arthritis What is camphor? White, crystalline substance obtained from the roots and bark of the camphor tree. Healing properties: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, ideal for arthritic pain, cough and bronchial, cold, sprain. It can also be used in steam therapy to release the respiratory tract.

MENTHOLI. Menthol belongs to the broader class of terpenoids and is the main active ingredient of plants such as mint and mint. It is the ingredient that is responsible for the characteristic aroma and sense of “coolness” offered by these herbs, which is why it is used both in culinary preparations, as well as in cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, such as toothpaste,  mouthwashes, lozenges and inhalants. Healing properties: decongestant, liquefies mucous secretions contributing in this way to relieve the symptoms of the common cold, local analgesic.

EUCALYPTUS OIL. Eucalyptus  is known for its beneficial properties on the respiratory system because it facilitates and releases breathing. Protects against weak viruses, strengthens the immune system. The modern pharmaceutical industry greatly appreciates the great antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action of eucalyptus oil. That is why it is a preferred active ingredient of drugs against bronchitis, asthma, runny nose,  sinusitis (unblocks the nose, relieves breathing), angina, cough (relieves pain and has an expectorant effect. Healing properties: Treats colds, flu, throat infections and sinusitis (inhalations), relieves strong, dry cough and headaches, alleviates shortness of breath asthma and bronchitis (inhalations), antipyretic action, cleanses and stimulates the mind.

TURPENTINE. Turpentine is a  completely natural substance of plant origin (juice from the trunks of coniferous trees, cedars, firs, pines). It is a natural solvent with antiseptic properties, widely used in medicine for rubbing, injections, and in pharmacy for antiseptic, hemostatic, expectorant preparations. Healing properties: analgesic, antirheumatic, antimicrobial, antiseptic, stimulating, tonic.

NUTMEG ESSENTIAL OIL.  The essential oil of nutmeg is  extracted by distilling its seeds, is almost colorless and has a sweet, warm and pungent smell. Particularly energizing, nutmeg essential oil is used in cases with muscle pain. Healing properties: relieving, analgesic, antiemetic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, aphrodisiac, stimulant (brain), cardiotonic.

THYME OIL. The parts of thyme used for therapeutic purposes are the leaves and flowering tops, collected from June to August. Healing properties: relieves flu symptoms, soothes inflammation of the respiratory tract and asthma.
